While we have a lot of special features on the disc (such as behind the scenes and blooper featurettes, other supernatural short films, and 5 (increasingly discombobulated) mass cast & crew commentaries), we know it is just a short -so we really wanted to give our supporters something unique and to turn the DVD release into more of a reclaimed materials art piece.
All proceeds from the 1972 DVD will go towards continuing the whacked out science fiction fairy tale it starts. We already shot a short followup film and are in preproduction for a longer continuation. We really enjoy our characters and love making giant robots and shiny rayguns. We hope you'll consider helping us keep doing it!

If you purchased or received a '72 DVD from us at Dragon*Con or anytime between August 16-September 18, please contact us, and we would be happy to send you a replacement! The new batch is great though. If you have ever purchased a DVD from us, in person or online, and haven't been satisfied with the burn quality, please let us know via email.

Good news everyone! We have released the limited release DVD print of our short "Once Upon a Time in 1972" AND have a super short-term discount on all merch in the store!
If you caught up with us at a convention you noticed our distinct packaging - each '72 DVD is packaged in an authentic vintage 5 1/4 inch floppy diskette!

Freeky Creek Film Fest and Drunken Zombie Fest
Happy Halloween everyone!
We just screened Once Upon a Time in 1972 at the Sleepy Creek Vineyard's Freeky Creek Film Festival over the weekend, and it went over great there! We had a blast - it's one of our favorite festivals all year (they have great wine there, you guys).
Also, make sure to check out the Drunken Zombie Film Festival over in Peoria - THE TRANSIENT will be screening on Saturday, November 5 at 5:26 PM. There should be a Q&A session with TRANSIENT actor Blake Stubbs! Looks like a great program over there!
Maybe we'll post some pictures of our Halloween costumes in the next few days, so check back soon!

Once Upon a Time in 1972 Trailer
So we have been teasing our new short, Once Upon a Time in 1972 for a ridiculous while (going on 7 months!), but we haven't really shown any of THE GOODS (as in video proof that the thing exists, not to be confused with "the goods" that you can purchase from our store). Anyway, here is a trailer.
Voiceover by Matt Shivers and acting by the people that we mention by name. We also have a '72 website coming along at http://1972movie.com, but, as of this blogging, I don't think it has too much info beyond what is on this page.
We hope to roll out some more neat '72 stuff soon, thanks for taking a look!

*UPDATED* Summer Convention/Screening Dates
Hello everyone! Wanted to post an update with more information as it becomes available. Here's our schedule for the next couple months.
August 4-7 Gen Con Indianapolis
"Once Upon a Time in 1972" is screening Saturday night (Aug 6) at 6:30 PM as part of the Sci-Fi Shorts block. Will you be there? Let us know! We'll have logo stickers... :)
August 11-14 Wizard World Chicago Comic Con
We'll be in Artist's Alley, selling DVDs (and awesome other merch...stay tuned for pictures) and showing off our awesome robot. Stop by to get a picture with Bruce (the villian-robot from "Once Upon a Time in 1972").
September 2-5 Dragon*Con (Atlanta, GA)
"Once Upon a Time in 1972" will be screening as part of the Dragon*Con Film Fest! We'll post more details as we get them.

Other big news is that our film is having its hometown premiere April 8 as a part of the New Art Film Festival in downtown Champaign! We are super excited to show it to everyone who helped - especially in such a great venue!
